Augmentative Communication and Assistive Technology in Emerging Areas

Our Augmentative Communication World Network tries to provide practical supports to people who are trying to develop augmentative communication resources and services in areas where they have not previously existed.  We help connect them with useful ideas and materials and match experts from areas where AAC has already taken root with individuals in these newly developing areas vie electronic communication (email, Skype, etc.) on a one to one person to person basis. This section on our website tries to make it easier for people around the globe to find already available resources more easily, and to learn what others in emerging areas are doing to make communication enhancement resources accessible to their local populations.
